Everett Ulbricht

“Everett was born in Texas, and currently lives in the Portland, OR area. After going through a painful divorce, like many other LDS singles he turned to Facebook and other dating groups in an attempt to meet other singles. He eventually reached out to Celeste and they started talking and quickly hit it off. Although Celeste had many other guys interested in her and she lived 2,000 miles away in Texas, for some odd reason she thought Everett was funny enough to hold her interest (his daughters think his dad jokes are the worst). They started the ultimate long-distance relationship (LDR) and for 2 years flew back and forth to spend time together.

During this time they both began hosting the LDS Singles Flameless Fireside Podcast to help other LDS singles who were struggling with issues. After 2 years they decided to tie the knot even though they were still living apart. They have plans to both move to Utah soon where they can finally be together for good. They have given hope to others who are considering LDR’s as single adults.

Everett has 2 beautiful daughters from a previous marriage and Celeste has 4 children making a total of 6 altogether. He loves hosting the Flameless Fireside Podcast as it has been a beacon and a hope to so many searching for answers.”

Celeste Ulbricht

“Celeste was raised in Utah in a single-parent, less-active family. Knowing she should go to church, some Sundays Celeste would walk to church alone. In her early twenties, she met and married a man with a similar background. Together they became active members of the Church, and Celeste is still active to this day. Along the way she was blessed with four amazing children. After a 25 year marriage, a divorce introduced her into the LDS Singles world. “Celeste met Everett on a Facebook LDS Singles group. After chatting daily for almost two years straight, they were married. Their blended family now has six children. Celeste considers herself The Queen of LDR’s (long distance relationships) because not only did she and Everett live 2000 miles apart while dating but they still live 2000 miles apart while married. This summer both Celeste and Everett will relocate to Utah and finally live under the same roof.” “Though now married, Celeste’s heart still resides with LDS singles. She’s dedicated herself to helping the unseen majority of the Church find a place where they feel welcome and understood through her efforts on the Flameless Fireside Podcast. Celeste is also a Certified Dating/Life Coach and enjoys offering encouragement and guidance to those trying to maneuver through the difficult world of LDS dating.”

Teri Wilson

“I grew up in a small Washington town. My best friend growing up was a Latter-day Saint. I always admired how her family seemed to work together through everything. Even during a family tragedy they always seemed to come together. My parents always taught me strong morals, and the lifestyle seemed to fit. I was a cake mix just needing the water, and so I was baptized in my early 20’s. Being a convert I can see how things work, and don’t. I can see how the men within the church after getting divorced can be misunderstood. Most fade into the background, and feel as if people don’t care. My mission when I created Latter-day Saints 35 and wiser Facebook group was to compassionately help others like me feel special. My drive is to make sure no one feels unloved, and we all have a greater purpose. I have two adult children and one who thinks she’s a child but she’s a lab and very cookie driven. My children always accompany me while volunteering in my community. Which they have been apart of since they were little. Not very many kids can say they were raised climbing into Fire trucks but mine can.

Being apart of the podcast has helped me more than even I realized. It gives me knowledge with circumstances people are faced with and ideas on how to solve those issues. It’s helped me to help better understand the missing holes in our large community of fellow singles.”
